With an Enchantments thru-hike coming up in a few weeks, I thought it was probably time to get some miles in with a pack on. The Icicle Ridge trail connector from Icicle Road is a solid choice for training, gaining nearly 2,000′ in about 2.7 miles. It was a bit smoky from some dry lightning starts in the area on August 31 and it was around 95 degrees, but great to get outside.
