UTAH: “THE MIGHTY FIVE”

The one that started it all. This expedition across Southern Utah’s “Mighty Five” national parks with my cousin Scott Stedman was formative in my love of camping and adventure. I’d grown up camping with my family, but during this trip, I “made it my own”. I bought a new mountain bike (at $1,000 over budget) and was excited to dive into everything Utah had to offer. Scott and I planned meticulously, gathering extensive beta and mapping routes and contingencies. It was a spectacular trip.
