Got a wild hair this morning and decided to pedal a 30-mile loop I’ve heard about and had my eye on for a little while.

From the house, up Eagle Creek, up and over into Derby Canyon, back home on North Road. Hellish sustained head winds on Chumstick/Eagle Creek and again on North Road but it was a great temp. Coming down from the pass into Derby Canyon was chunky gravel and I didn’t feel I could do much more than 10-12mph. Next time. I might consider riding this route counterclockwise and see how that changes anything.
